Borrowing should feel like a plan, not a gamble.
GARONNE is a credit company built around one stubborn idea: you should know exactly what a loan will cost, and exactly what it will do for you, before you sign anything. No fog, no fine-print scavenger hunts.
We named ourselves after a river, on purpose.
The Garonne starts in the Pyrenees as a thin stream and ends as a wide, steady current that carries cargo, farmers, and whole cities toward the sea. Credit, handled well, works the same way: a modest push at the right moment that turns into momentum.
GARONNE was founded by a small group of former bankers, budgeting coaches and one very patient software engineer who were tired of watching good people sign bad contracts. We kept the parts of lending that help — speed, access, flexibility — and rebuilt everything else around honesty.
Every product we offer must pass a simple internal test: could we explain it to a friend over coffee in five minutes, with no jargon, and would they still say yes?
Four ways credit can actually work in your favour
Borrowing is a tool. Pick the right one and it earns its keep; pick the wrong one and it charges rent. Tap through to see where each shines.
Personal credit
A single sum, a fixed schedule, and a final payment date you can circle on the calendar. Perfect for the dental bill that cannot wait, the course that raises your salary, or the move to a better city.
- Fixed monthly payment that never drifts
- Repay early without penalties
- Decision explained in writing, whatever the outcome
Home improvement
Insulation that lowers the heating bill, a kitchen that finally works, a roof that stops worrying you at night. Spread the cost while the upgrade starts paying you back in comfort and efficiency.
- Draw funds in stages as work progresses
- Guidance on which upgrades return the most value
- Payments sized to your real monthly budget
Small business
Invoices arrive in sixty days, suppliers want payment in thirty. Short-term credit bridges that gap so a healthy company never stalls because of timing alone.
- Fast answers for owners who cannot wait weeks
- Seasonal repayment options
- A named contact, not a ticket number
Debt consolidation
Five cards, three due dates, and an interest rate you stopped checking. Consolidation folds them into one payment — useful only when the new total cost is lower, so we show that comparison first.
- Side-by-side cost comparison before you commit
- One date, one amount, one clear end
- Budget check-in included at no charge
See the real price before you ask for it
Slide the numbers. The ring shows how much of the total goes to the loan itself and how much goes to interest.
Figures are an illustration only, not an offer. Your personal rate depends on your circumstances.

Four stops, no rapids.
Tell us what you need
A two-minute form: amount, purpose, and a rough picture of your monthly income and outgoings. No credit-score ambush at this stage.
Get your one-page summary
You receive the monthly payment, total cost, and the exact date of the last instalment — all on one page you can show to anyone.
Sleep on it
We deliberately give you a cooling-off window. If the offer still looks good tomorrow, it will look good next week too.
Funds arrive, we stay in touch
Once you accept, money lands in your account. Reminders before each payment, and a real person if life throws you a curveball.
The GARONNE app is coming to the App Store
We built the app we wished our own banks had: one screen that tells you where you stand and what to do next.
Four credit myths, flipped
Hover or tap a card.
“Any debt is bad debt.”
Is borrowing ever the smart move?
Tap to flipDebt that buys a skill, a safer home or business stability can pay for itself many times over. Debt that buys nothing lasting is the one to avoid.
“The lowest payment is the best deal.”
Why the cheapest-looking offer can cost more.
Tap to flipA smaller monthly payment often means a longer term and more interest overall. Compare total cost, not just the monthly figure.
“Asking about credit hurts me.”
What checking your options really does.
Tap to flipChecking your own budget and using a calculator leaves no mark anywhere. Information is free; commitment is a separate step.
“I need a perfect record to borrow.”
What lenders actually look at.
Tap to flipLenders look at the whole picture: income, outgoings and how you handle commitments today. A past stumble is not a permanent ban, and we always explain our decision in writing.
Questions people ask before they borrow
How is GARONNE different from a traditional bank?
We focus on one thing — consumer and small-business credit — and design every step around clarity. You receive a single-page summary of costs, a cooling-off period, and support from named people.
Can I repay my loan early?
Yes. Early repayment is welcome and our summary shows how much interest it saves you. We do not want you paying for time you did not use.
What if I struggle to make a payment?
Tell us before the due date. We would much rather rearrange a schedule with you than let a small problem grow. Contact us any time and we will look at options together.
When will the app be available?
The GARONNE app is in final testing and will be released on the Apple App Store soon. Send us a message through the contact page and we will notify you on launch day.
Is the calculator an actual offer?
No. It is an educational illustration of how amount, term and rate interact. Real offers depend on your individual situation and are always confirmed in writing.
Let's talk about your numbers.
